Staking Improvements on Kyvo: Earn Rewards While Securing the Network

Kyvo Staking Made Simple and App Performance Updates

Kyvo is your digital wallet for managing your crypto assets from one clean, secure interface. This update improves how you stake OPT. We’ve added helpful tips, explainer panels, and at-a-glance timing cards so anyone can stake without guesswork.

✨ Staking: Now Simpler Than Ever

Staking lets you commit OPT to help secure the network while potentially earning rewards. While staked, tokens are locked for a period and may earn rewards based on validator node performance and protocol rules.

Choosing a validator node matters. Until now, the staking process often required outside research. With this update, Kyvo guides you every step of the way:

  • Tips built right in — validator selection guidance appears on screen
  • Explainer panels — learn about validator commission and uptime in context
  • Clear summaries — see unstaking wait times and reward timing before you confirm

Why it’s a win: No more leaving the app to search for information. Everything you need to make informed staking choices is right inside Kyvo.

🚶 Step-by-Step Staking Flow

     1. Open Kyvo → Stake

Banner tip: “Choose a validator with high uptime and low commission.”

     2. Choose a Validator

Tap the info (i) icon to open validator metrics

Commission (%) — Tip: Lower commission generally means you keep more rewards.

Note: Some validators can change commission; check the current rate.

Uptime (%) — Tip: Prefer high, stable uptime. Warning: Low uptime may reduce rewards and increase the risk of penalties.

     3. Enter Amount

Type how much OPT to stake (use Max if you like). Keep a small amount unstaked for fees.

     4. Review Details

          At-a-glance cards show:

Unstaking Wait Time (e.g., 21 days)

Rewards Paid Every (e.g., 1 day)

You’ll also see **“Staking involves risks. Learn more.”**

     5. Confirm & Success

     6. Tap Stake and see your confirmation screen when active.

Why it’s a win: New and experienced stakers alike get clarity before committing — with risks, timing, and validator details all visible.

📊 Reward Distribution: Now Broken Down by Category

Node owners can now see exactly where their OPT rewards come from — whether it’s network, engagement, community, staking, or validator activity. Each reward summary displays the full breakdown alongside the total earned.

Why it’s a win: Transparency builds confidence. Node owners get the clarity they’ve been asking for, with full visibility into how their rewards are generated.

📝 Additional Release Notes – Kyvo 1.0.19

This update also includes UI/UX refinements across the Network and Staking tabs, plus a series of bug fixes and stability improvements. From smoother profile management to more reliable notifications and login flows, everyday use of Kyvo is now more seamless.
